Thornbury is a bustling historic market town, just 12 miles north of Bristol.
Thornbury is an ideal place for commuters needing easy access to motorways. The town is just off the A38 and it has access to the M4, M5, M32 and M48. Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol, Stroud and many more towns and cities are within easy reach by car from here. The local bus services are very good in Thornbury too, with plenty of services into central Bristol and beyond.
The centre of Thornbury has plenty going on, especially along its bustling high street with a range of independent stores as well as well-known national chains. The St Mary Centre has a good selection of shops and banks, as well as places to eat. The shopping centre also hosts a farmers market twice a month.
Thornbury has an impressive selection of places to eat and drink. There are cosy cafes, fine dining restaurants, and traditional, old pubs that are full of character. There’s something for everyone here.
