What to do in Maidstone
From parks galore from large to small, we love Mote Park, where you can have a different fun outing every time you go. Formerly a country park it now covers 440 acres offering lovely country walks, lakes for water sports, café, music events, it is a great day out.
There is also a cinema and bowling alley, exciting river tours and the local leisure centre.
We also love the beautiful Leeds Castle, from Christmas markets to Easter egg hunts or the children spending hours in the play areas and maze you can happily spend hours and hours here!
What is schooling like in the area
There is a great selection of local schools ranging from Church of England and Catholic primary schools, to popular Grammar and state-run secondary schools and colleges. Conveniently placed all over the area, so no matter where you may reside you will find the perfect school close by, with Ofsted ratings including Good, Excellent and Outstanding.
Nightlife in Maidstone
There is so much to keep you occupied here, no matter what you feel like doing……..we have local Kentish pubs offering great food, drink and fun quiz nights! Every kind of restaurant you can think of from independent bistro’s to popular chains such as Nando’s and Prezzo’s. To fun nights out at the Hazlitt Theatre to the popular Extraction Room!!

Maidstone has 3 mainline train stations, East, West and Barrack stations, with trains taking you into London St Pancras, London Charing cross and Victoria in just over an hour. With good access also to the M20 & M2 motorways for journeys to London, Canterbury, the South Coast and further afield.
