This is also the findings from a recent study undertaken by Rightmove, who questioned what has changed for buyers and tenants in recent weeks. 57% of respondents informed Rightmove they believed there was a greater sense of community in their local area. A change will come for many people

The Rightmove study also looked at what people are keen to see in their new home. If you are interested in how the housing market might perform in the next few weeks, or you want to see what buyers and tenants intend to look for, the findings of the study will be of interest.
Unsurprisingly, the most important thing for buyers and tenants was having access to a bigger garden or some garden. This was cited by 63% of buyers and 59% of tenants, which means garden space will be a priority in the housing and rental market.
Indoor space will also be valuable when it comes to buyer and tenant demands. 43% of buyers and 41% of tenants said they hope to move to a larger property when they next move house. Given many people have spent a considerable amount of time indoors of late, there shouldn’t be a surprise in these figures.
Remote working might influence people’s decisions when buying property
With remote working set to increase, there is set to be a change in buyer demand for homes in a specific setting 31% of buyers said they wish to live closer to a parks and green space while 30% said they want to live in a more rural setting.
The amount of green space in and around Greenwich makes it an ideal destination for people looking for freedom on their doorstep. This part of London is well-placed for commuters, but even if people don’t need to attend the office every day, there is still a lot to be said for being so well-connected for everything London has to offer.
When life moves forward, living in a setting like Greenwich provides homeowners with the best of both worlds.
The decision between living in a rural or urban setting is also linked to remote working and whether people will need to travel to work daily, or at least regularly. While this is a significant decision for many people to think, we don’t think remote working will impact people’s desire to live in Greenwich.
