Martin joined Hunters in 1997 in the sales department and proceeded to work his way through the ranks to Manager, Area Manager and made a Director in 2006 and then National Sales Director in 2016. Martin previously worked in sport and sports management, firstly as Assistance Head coach to the MCC from 1986-92. Then Assistance Director of Sports Development at Ampleforth College before taking up the Role of Cricket Development Officer at Durham CCC, just after they achieved First Class status, in 1993 and was instrumental in setting up The School of Excellence and Youth Cricket Academy.
